TAE KWON DO
Tae Kwon Do is the core of our instruction. Learn this beautiful Korean style which is based on Forms, Self defense, Step Defense, Sparring and Board brakes. Based on 10 belt ranks of different colors from White to Black. Forms follow the traditional style of the ITF (International Tae Kwon Do Federation). This curriculum is complemented by basic First Aid instruction and an emphasis in Family and community service. Our belt rank progression is White, Yellow, High Yellow, Green, High Green, Blue, High Blue, Red, High Red and Black. Black Belt progression is based on 9 Dans. Traditionally, the 10th Dan is reserved for teachers who have devoted a life time to the art and is given Post Mortem. You can join the Academy in plans for a minimum of 6 or 12 months. On the 12 month minimum plan the school provides one uniform at no cost. Please call 443-3412 for pricing. |
